Speakers // Ian Murray

Ian Murray is the Managing Director of PROTRAINING UK, with a background of over 25 years in management and training. He has a wealth of experience gained from the military and the commercial business world.

Ian has worked on many programmes and projects, from initial conception through to completion with the military, Charitable organisations, local government and the private sector.

Ian is constantly striving to produce better results within himself and others, and has achieved the following:

  • A level 7 (Masters) accreditation awarded by the ‘Institute of Leadership and Management’ (ILM), and
  • A level 5 in coaching and mentoring.

He is also a member of:

  • The ‘City and Guilds Institute’,
  • The ‘Chartered Management Institute’ and,
  • An associate of the ‘Chartered Quality Institute’.

A former captain working for the UK Army Cadet Force, he developed programmes and strategies for disadvantaged young people, striving to deliver a service that would enhance their lives whilst giving them realistic opportunities for development and future growth.

Ian is particularly strong in systems and procedures and with an eye for detail that enables him to deliver to the highest standards. With ability to coach and lead people, he has a proven track record in consistently achieving results even under very challenging circumstances.
