The Art of Coaching for Diversity

This session will focus on gender stereotype in the workplace with the use of arts-based methods in supporting women in career progression. We will present both group and individual interventions and experience of two groups of women: North-East middle managers and FIBA early-to-mid-career employees. First, we will discuss two arts-inspired workshops: sensory /metaphorical engagement and storytelling theatre. Second, we will explore possibilities of including similar approach in individualising coaching sessions, in particular use of life-grids, mindfulness and narratives.
