Transforming People Performance
Great performance management has the potential to not only drive high performance, but it can positively influence culture, employee engagement, talent development and teamwork.
Unfortunately, the performance practices of the last 30 years have not been so great and instead of delivering these positive outcomes, they have tended to be a drain on leadership and HR energy, adding limited value.
The good news is that performance management is experiencing a revolution and over the last few years, we have seen significantly improved ways of setting goals, having performance conversations, evaluating performance and developing talent.
Whilst these changes are needed and welcome, there is a danger that we repeat history and fall into the same trap of managing performance in a generic and homogenous way without considering our culture, context or the specific needs of our teams and our people.
This session will be helpful to any Business or HR leader who wants to support the performance and development of their people by creating a culture and philosophy of performance management that inspires, motivates and engages.
The session will focus on how to:
Craft a performance management philosophy to support the unique needs of your organisation
Set goals that engage and allow your people to make a meaningful impact
Make coaching and feedback habitual and part of your everyday conversations
Enable team performance
Evaluate, measure and reward performance
